Viterbit Set to Raise €6-8 Million for European Expansion and Revenue Growth
Viterbit, a Spanish recruitment technology startup, is planning to raise between €6 million and €8 million in the first quarter of 2025. The company intends to use these funds to triple its recurring revenues and accelerate its international expansion, particularly in Europe.
Founded in 2021 by Dimitri Nicolau, Ariel Gutiérrez, and Marcos Gómez, Viterbit has developed an AI-driven recruitment platform designed to streamline and optimise hiring processes for businesses. The platform offers a multi-channel approach, providing users with comprehensive management oversight and an automated candidate validation system to identify the best digital profiles. This end-to-end solution aims to enhance the selection process for both candidates and employers.
Currently, Viterbit operates in Spain and Mexico, with clients in Argentina, Chile, and Germany. The upcoming funding round is intended to support the company's expansion into key European markets, including Italy, France, Poland, and Romania. Dimitri Nicolau, Co-Founder and CEO of Viterbit, stated that the goal is to "triple our recurring revenue during 2025 and 2026 and expand our presence in key markets in Europe."
In 2022, Viterbit raised €1.6 million in a funding round led by 4Founders Capital, with participation from Lanai Partners, Roma Ventures, and business angels such as Carlos Blanco, Oriol Juncosa, and Enrique Linares. This initial investment enabled the company to consolidate its presence in Spain and Mexico and develop its AI-powered recruitment platform.
To further strengthen its leadership team, Viterbit recently appointed Aarón Cogolludo as Chief Revenue Officer. Cogolludo brings valuable experience from companies such as Iberia, Google, and Personio, and is expected to play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and international expansion.
The company's flagship product, MIA, is an autonomous recruiter that uses AI to interact with candidates, gather information, and assist them in applying for job offers that best match their profiles. This innovation allows companies to significantly reduce recruitment costs, approaching a tenth of traditional expenses. Nicolau noted that the platform has proven effective in sectors with high demand for personnel, such as information technology, construction, and hospitality.
Viterbit's client portfolio includes notable companies such as Grupo Sibuya, Fresh People, Scalpers, Colegios Salesianos, Colvin, Elrow, and Sabori in Mexico. The company's AI-driven platform has enabled these clients to optimise their recruitment processes and achieve significant cost savings.
With a team of 35 employees across key areas like engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support, Viterbit is well-positioned to execute its growth plan and continue evolving its AI-powered platform. The upcoming funding round is expected to provide the necessary resources to accelerate the company's expansion into new markets and further enhance its technological offerings.
In summary, Viterbit's planned funding round aims to support its ambitious growth objectives, including tripling recurring revenues and expanding its presence in key European markets. With a strong leadership team, innovative AI-driven solutions, and a growing client base, Viterbit is poised to make a significant impact in the recruitment technology sector.
